- B. S. Engineering / Computer Science
- 5 years experience in similar role
- Experience in all phases of software deployment including scope definition, requirements definition, Installation, structured project methodology and ongoing customer support.
- Ability to lead functional and technical resources in developing, testing and implementing software solutions, data conversions, customizations and interfaces
- Ability and willingness to learn thru a structured development program which includes internal and external courses, external certifications and practical on the job training (both office and field).
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft suite, AutoCad and other design software.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with a positive attitude
- Proven time and project management skills
- Lead workshops, attended by clients and PSL personnel, aimed at analyzing and mitigating risks.
- Onshore and Offshore exposure.
- Proficiency using and interpreting hydraulics, torque & drag analysis, casing design, drill string/BHA design, data analysis, real-time evaluations models and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited University
- Must be willing to travel to remote land and offshore work locations and possibly to other countries. Ability to travel internally in the region or globally if required attending meetings, customer office assignments or operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, management and successful delivery of optimization solution to customers in oil and gas industry. Manage expectations, gather appropriate requirements, generate accurate estimates and deliver effective communication regarding project details with internal and external teams.
· Consults with management and reviews project proposals.
· Establish a professional, successful relationship with the client.
· Accurately estimate new projects given defined scope of work.
· Develops Prepares and presents the statement of work, project plans based on site surveys and requirements gathering.
· Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives.
· Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
· Coordinate project resources and workload in a matrix organizational structure.
· Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
· Prepares/reviews status reports, schedules and plans as required.
· Provide Functional and Technical advice and resolve problems.
· Coordinates and responds to requests for changes.
· Develops and maintains technical and project documentation.
· Develops Field Acceptance test plans and conducts tests.
· Know and understand company Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

- Manage project schedule and project budget. Define project scope, risk analysis and management of changes. Define critical paths and resources for the project. Establish baselines and generate effective cost and schedule reports.

- Write Real results, technical magazine articles and technical conference abstracts/papers.
- Perform jobs audit.
- Review and approve rig visit (onshore/offshore) reports and related flow process diagram.
