Position: SLICKLINE SPECIALIST
Required experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience
Degree qualified: Technical or engineering degree, followed by Well Testing, data acquisition course graduation and Emerson Distribution Control System cources.
SLICKLINE SPECIALIST:
Slickline Specialist capable to manage and direct day to day slickline and braided line job activities for the entire crew. Experience and competence to operate Well Control Panel, run slickline operations for gas lift, run different plugs, memory tools, shifting tool and setting/retrieving back pressure valves. Active, recognized and relevant intervention well control certification Completions background, SIMOPS (simultaneous rigless operations), risk assessment and HSSE. Formal training and practical experience in the selection, use, operation and maintenance of Slickline tools and pressure control equipment used in Slickline operations. 3+ years’ work experience in the industry in an equivalent position within the Slickline discipline, in a relevent environment. Mobilizes offshore as needed for planning and job execution. Follows COMPANY operational programs and well operation procedures. Rigs up and operates Slickline winch to work downhole tools, all SL related equipment including the lubricator, ELMAR panel and other associated equipment, etc. Conducts process re-engineering, technical limits evaluation, and risk assessments as needed Ensures that WORK is executed as per program/procedure. Participates in SOC program and/or other safety behaviour programs. Involved in planning meetings and interaction with crews to ensure rig up details have been discussed and thought through prior to WORK commencing and at toolbox meetings. Ensures that all downhole tools or equipment are callipered/gauged including fishing necks before entering the wellbore. Supplies COMPANY on-site representative with updated tool string diagrams including dimensions prior to running in the well and upon request Applies downhole knowledge and responsibility for pushing back and questioning well procedures. Performs the actual makeup of all tools and equipment. Directly participates in all critical aspects of the WORK Provides assistance to COMPANY representative in addressing SIMOPS (simultaneous rigless operations) issues. Ensures that all equipment is maintained and certified and in good working condition.
