QUALIFICATION and JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualification
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the crude oil refining or petrochemical related industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance related works at a managerial level
- Working knowledge of maintenance contractor management and work optimization
- Working knowledge of trouble shooting, business strategies, and planning
- Experience in occupational health and safety management
- Ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels
- Good level in both written and verbal English
Job Description
- Managing all maintenance activities (mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation) in workplace to ensure the machinery and equipment are ready for production anytime
- Planning daily routine, overhaul, and turnaround maintenance works
- Performing protective and preventative maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime
- Performing effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability
- Identifying the critical spare parts, tracking the spare part inventories, and ensuring the purchase of the spare parts
- Supporting inspection (QC/QA) activities; new equipment installation and asset improvement projects
- Working closely with Operations to produce effective maintenance strategies
- Taking necessary precautions to comply with the occupational safety rules and to prevent work accidents
- Managing the revenue and capital budgeting of the department
- Management of subcontractors
- Intervene according to the training and assignment received about fire and natural disasters.
