QUALIFICATION and JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualification
-**Degree in Mechanical Engineering**
-**Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the crude oil refining or petrochemical related industry.**
– **Ability to manage a team.**
– **Knowledge of equipment and work principles in the relevant areas of responsibility.**
– **Knowledge of SAP PM and Microsoft Office programs.**
– **Maintenance planning and scheduling.**
– **Familiarity with RCM, FMEA, SIL, HAZOP, MOC, PTW, and RCA.**
– **Knowledge of API and other international standards.**
– **Excellent command of English, with knowledge of additional languages preferred.**
Job Description
– **Must have comprehensive knowledge and ensure and oversee compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations, particularly regarding safety, construction standards, and fire safety.**
– **Must ensure and oversee the safety and security of the property and people by coordinating and implementing procedures and regulatory measures.**
– **Follow maintenance procedures and report on daily activities.**
– **Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.**
– **Inspect and supervise facilities to identify and resolve issues.**
– **Monitor and optimize the budget, maintenance, and personnel expenses.**
– **Train and instruct all staff within their tasks to perform to the required standards.**
– **Communicate effectively to explain objectives to the team and motivate them.**
– **Review daily work requests and work orders to determine workload priorities. Assign tasks to employees and monitor progress towards completion.**
– **Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance activities within the maintenance system.**
– **Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements and standards.**
– **Request tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for operations.**
– **Respond to all emergencies in accordance with contract requirements.**
– **Ensure appropriate documentation and accurate record-keeping of the work performed.**
– **Supervise the timely and accurate preparation of records, reports, and other documents related to the work done.**
– **Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards, legal requirements, operational procedures, and institutional policies.**
