QUALIFICATION and JOB DESCRIPTION
- Electrical Engineer or Electronics bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- 10 years of experience
- Knowledge about electrical equipments like transformers, electric motors and controls, generators, generating power stations and associated switchgear of medium and high voltage, variable frequency controllers, transformers, UPS & PLC. Ability to read and understand process P&IDs, electrical SLD and schematic diagrams, Power Management System (PMS), Atmosphere Explosive (ATEX), all instruments, control valves, DCS&PLC systems. Knowledge in arc flash hazards & Hazardous area equipment maintenance. Etc
- SAP PM, Microsoft Office Programs knowledge
- Maintenance Planning and Programming
- RCM, FMEA, SIL, HAZOP, MOC,PTW and RCA, troubleshooting failures
- Familiar with related API standards
- Advanced English
- Working on High Voltage Electricity Certificate
Job Description
- Managing electrical and instrument maintenance department responsibilities, engineer, and technician team
- Managing commissioning activities of the new process plants.
- Managing producing standards, procedures, checklists etc. documentation according to international standards
- Managing maintenance of equipment such as transformers, electric motors and controls, generators, generating power stations and associated switchgear of medium and high voltage, variable frequency controllers, transformers, UPS & PLC. - Managing sub-contractors,
- Managing maintenance budget
- Supporting Turnaround department
- Reporting and following the daily activities to management
- Participating and having active role in Operational excellence activities and Operational readiness activities
- Managing the critical spare parts, tracking the spare part inventories, and ensuring the purchase of the spare parts
- Working with the team and other department members to produce effective maintenance strategies
- Setting Comptency and Training Matrix for related diciplines
