Position: OPERATIONS ENGINEER
Minimum 5 years related field experience. Min 3 years in Field Service, Operational or engineering roles. Completed Competency trainings
Diploma or degree qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering
Operations Engineer:
1st Class Batchelors in Mechanical Engineering
• Supporting plant operations covering all aspects of plant operations – Machining, Fitting, Welding & Inspection.
• Completed technical apprenticeship in Manufacturing (Turning, Milling & Fabrication.
• Design and analysis of structural frame components for XT products.
• Design and analysis of 10K Horizontal Tubing Hangers.
• Development of first-off VMXT TH in WHD Template Alignment systems for Utgard and Bauge leading to TH being installed to within 0.25 degrees.
• Development in tree core for OSS modular VMXT.
Responsible for offshore and onshore engineering issues and control for all sections of the SD2 and ACG3 Subsea Production Systems
– Installation and commissioning technical support for subsea equipment
-Supporting major intervention scopes (retrieval of upper completions tooling and subsea trees)
– Technical support for onshore activity related to maintenance, repair, refurbishment and testing activity of subsea equipment
– Technial support to BP operations and project team
– Technical support for 718 remediation activities related to SD2 Subsea Tree system and associated tooling
Preferably experienced with subsea proprietary equipment – XT’s, WH’s, TH systems and associated running tools
Manufacturing process and delivery of SPS equipment
Client facing or Project operations engineering support position
Investigative and problem solving technical issues with subsea equipment both onshore and subsea
Producing and presenting engineering investigations and corrective action reports
Plant support providing engineering suport for onshore activities related to the repair & preparation of subsea equipment.
Onshore pressure testing of subsea equipment.
Mechanical design.
Technical apprenticeship or
Degree (or equivalent) in mechanical or subsea engineering related disciplne
Experince and knowledge of Subsea Production Systems (SPS) equipment
Applicable engineering calcuations – mechanical & pressure
Mechanical design
Technical knowledge of installation and commmissioing of SPS equipment.
Ability to produce and read Engineering dwgs – use of AutoCAD/Inventor
Generating engineering procedures
Ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills.
Problem solving ability.
Team leadership and mentoring skills
IT skills to include, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word & SAP
Technical apprenticeship or Degree (or equivalent) qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Experience of OSS propriatary equipment

Working knowledge of the offshore enviroment
