Operations Director

Qualification

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of working experience in the crude oil refining or petrochemical industry
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in production, planning, reporting and operational processes at a managerial level 
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities
  • Experience in occupational health and safety management
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels
  • Good level in both written and verbal English
  • Experience with Transformation and Operational Excellence programs
  • Experience in Aset Management Applications

Job Description

  • Coordination of all production units and process activities in workplace to ensure the production taking place in an uninterrupted, economical, and safe manner
  • Ensuring the production targets are realized in accordance with the policies, within the designated time period, quantity and quality
  • Managing the implementation of OPEX programs such as Asset management and Process Safety Management
  • Monitoring efficiency and continuity of the operations, Setting KPI s for Operations and tracking the KPIs
  • revenue and capital budgeting of the department
