Position: Maintenance specialist
Responsibilities
• High school or preferably university degree
• Minimum of 15 years of working experience in oil and gas industry preferably in refining or petrochemical field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the maintenance (mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation) related works
• Working knowledge of trouble shooting, and work planning
• Experience in maintenance team management
• Experience in occupational health and technical safety
• Technical drawing and some level of CAD knowledge
• Good command of MS Office programs
• Must be flexible to work in two or three shifts
• Ability to effectively work and communicate at all levels
Requirements
• Managing all maintenance activities (mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation) in the workplace
• Ensuring the machinery and equipment are ready for production anytime
• Performing planned protective and preventative maintenance in accordance to minimized unplanned downtime
• Performing effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability
• Planning and carrying out the maintenance activities for shutdown (overhaul) periods
• Identifying the critical spare parts, tracking the spare part inventories, and ensuring the purchase of the spare parts
• Working with the team and other department members to produce effective maintenance strategies
• Making record and document all work carried out on all equipment on both paper and computer systems
• Involving in new machinery installation and commissioning processes if required
Any other specific requirements
Good communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to make presentations and write effective reports, in particular for Management Reviews
• Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional and multi-location environment
• Pleasant personality and ability to listen & influence personnel not directly under his/her responsibility;
• Ability to lead and coach international and national staff
• Capacity to integrate within an international and national workforce
• Problem solving and analytical/computer skills
• Strong commitment to safety
• Coach for performance within and across Group organization
•15 years minimum relevant experience
