Electrical Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITY
DUTIES:
|
Follows and implements all CDC Procedures
and Standards as stipulated in CDC Quality Management System (Q.M.S.) without
deviations.The
Electrical Supervisor ensures that all electronic and electric equipment is
functioning and in accordance with relevant rules and regulations.
He/she is
responsible for supervising inspections, testing, maintenance and repair of
the high voltage plant in accordance with the preventative maintenance
management system and high voltage safe working practices. Additionally, the
Electrical Supervisor enforces that all work is done in a safe and
responsible manner, directs tasks to be completed and ensures availability of
spare parts in his/her department.
Various
duties including but not limited to the supervision of all preventive
maintenance, installation/removal of electrical equipment, repair and
documentation of the entire offshore unit’s electrical systems and equipment
to include all refrigeration and air conditioning systems, all electrical
power generation sources, rectifiers and circuits, transformers, power
distribution equipment, electrical motors and controllers.Performing diagnostic tests and
troubleshooting system faults and failures, of all electrical equipment down
to the component level. Ensures that electrical power
is supplied where and when needed.That all electrical systems are
within safety and regulatory body compliance standards and all electrical
equipment remains operative throughout the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS/
EXPERIENCE:
|
To hold
this position, you must have the following:A Higher
Degree in Electrical Engineering on a Bachelor or Master Level with further
practical experience in accordance with requirements from the National
Authorities. Alternatively you must be Certified Industrial Electrician with
a recognized National Apprenticeship, Certificate or Diploma such as Academy
Profession, City & Guilds, or similar, supplemented with courses in
accordance with requirements from the National Authorities.Certification
to supervise and conduct work on high voltage power plantsHazardous
area certificate CompEX.Experience
with the relevant Rig systems and equipment.Pass the
Competency assessment required for this position before (promoted) or during
the probation period (newly hired) Successfully
demonstrate physical ability to perform essential job functions.(pass
pre-placement physical examination. pass all steps of Company procedure of
Drug Abuse.)Must successfully satisfy all applicable international regulatory
body and client training certification and/or marine
