According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the French company Technip Energies N.V. and the Kazakh National Company QazaqQaz, a gas processing plant (GPP) will be built at the Kashagan field in Kazakhstan, QazaqQaz said.
The parties envisage the construction of the Kashagan GPP with a production capacity of 1 bcm per year.
The companies also plan to cooperate in the field of improving the competence of employees within the QazaqGaz scientific and technical center.
Technip Energies will also advise QazaqQaz on issues related to gas processing and energy transition.
