The Norwegian company Equinor intends to invest 50% of its income in renewables, Stig Atland, Azerbaijan country manager of Equinor, said at a conference within the Baku Energy Week, Report informs.
He noted that, in general, the company invests in various areas of the oil and gas industry, such as natural gas.
Atland also emphasized the importance of digitalization for the development of the oil and gas sector, which requires joint work.
“If we want to succeed in the energy transition and oil and gas, we need to share data,” he said.
