In January-April of this year, the volume of gas losses in the distribution network of the Azerigaz Production Association of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) amounted to 88 mcm, stated the Director General of “Azerigaz” Ruslan Aliyev. According to him, this is 8.3% less than in the same period last year.
He also said that since the beginning of the year, Azerigaz has received 3 billion 817 mcm of natural gas into the gas distribution network. This is 321 mcm of gas more than in the same period last year.
At the same time, industrial enterprises were supplied with 891 mcm of gas, for the needs of the population – 2 billion 926 mcm. In April this year, Azerigaz distributed 540 mcm of natural gas: industrial enterprises – 185 mcm, population – 355 mcm.
