Rashid Agakishiev has been appointed economic adviser to the head of SOCAR, Agakishiev himself wrote in his account on the social network.
Prior to his appointment to this post, Agakishiev headed SOCAR Construction in Russia for about 4 years.
SOCAR Construction LLC was registered on August 8, 2017 as a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation. Over the years of operation, the company has received only two orders: in April 2019 – installation of metal structures, equipment and in-plant process pipelines in the construction project of the Amur GPP, and in August 2019 – installation of process pipelines as part of the construction work of the Mozyr Oil Refinery (Belarus).
Since February 2017, he has worked in various positions, including Deputy Commercial Director of Norm Baku Cement Plant.
Agakishiyev indicated that he started his business career in 2001 at Azerpetrol International Holdings B.V. where he worked as an investment partner for more than two years.
