SOCAR plans to install over 3,000 solar panels at gas stations in Georgia

In 2022, the Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR plans to install more than three thousand solar panels at gas stations (gas stations) in Georgia. 

214 of these panels have already been installed at two filling stations.

“Solar panels generate about 85 thousand kWh of energy annually. With this energy from solar panels, it is possible to partially meet the energy needs of the gas station. In 2022, SOCAR plans to install more than 3,000 solar panels at gas stations in the neighboring country. 

SOCAR is the first company in the oil and gas sector of Georgia to launch such a project,”statement of the company.
