Azerbaijan’s income from oil exports has grown by 37.5% since the beginning of the year

The export of Azerbaijan’s declared volumes of oil in January-November 2021 amounted to 25 million 537 thousand 504.3 tons, which is 7.5% less than the same period last year.

According to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the total cost of oil exported for the reporting period amounted to $ 12 billion 285 million 430.87 thousand (an increase of 37.5%).

The share of oil in the total structure of exports in January-November 2021 amounted to 62.05% (66.59% in January-November 2020).

The average price for Azerbaijani oil in January-November 2021 was $ 64.1 per barrel.
According to the State Customs Committee, Italy is traditionally the main buyer of Azerbaijani oil, which accounted for 47.4% of the total export of “black gold” for 11 months. In addition to Italy, the TOP-3 buyers also included Israel and Croatia.
