The words of the ambassador are quoted by the Pakistani edition of Pakistan Observer.
Farhadov noted that the leaderships of Azerbaijan and Pakistan have a desire to expand economic cooperation, and both countries should focus on promoting direct ties between private sectors to improve bilateral trade relations.
So far, SOCAR officials have not commented on the statements of the Azerbaijani ambassador to Pakistan.
