Oil production in Kazakhstan in August amounted to 1.261 million bpd, the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan reported.
“Daily oil production excluding condensate in Kazakhstan, according to official data, amounted to 1.261 million bpd in August. The level of fulfillment of obligations (within OPEC +) is 206%,” the ministry said in a statement.
In July, the level of daily production was 1.484 million bpd, the level of fulfillment of obligations was 96%.
Earlier it was reported that in June Kazakhstan exceeded the norm for oil production under the OPEC + agreement, producing 1.465 million barrels per day against the planned 1.469 million barrels per day. Obligations for Kazakhstan under OPEC + in June amounted to 1.469 million bpd, in August the quota was increased to 1.491 million bpd.
