The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan is selecting a consultant on legal, technical and financial issues for the construction of a gas turbine power plant in the village of Yashma (Khizi district).
The selection is carried out by the method of polling quotations.
Companies wishing to participate in the selection must submit their proposals by September 15 inclusive.
The construction of the gas turbine power plant is planned at the expense of private investments.
In Azerbaijan, all power plants are currently on the balance sheet of the state (except for some small hydropower plants). The first private power plants that generate electricity from solar and wind are expected to appear in 2023-2024.
