Oil production in Kazakhstan in the first seven months of this year amounted to 49.8 million tons, or 99% of the previously planned volume, announced on Wednesday at a government meeting by the Minister of Energy of the Republic, Nurlan Nogayev.

“The volume of oil and condensate production in January-July amounted to 49.8 million tons, or 99% of the plan,” Nogayev said.
The minister also presented the indicators of three large oil production facilities. The Tengiz field produced 15.9 million tons of oil, Kashagan – 8.7 million tons, Karachaganak – 6.9 million tons. Oil exports during this period amounted to 39.3 million tons.
Oil production in Kazakhstan in 2020 reached 85.7 million tons. In 2021, the republic plans to produce 86 million tons.
