In April, Kazakhstan slightly exceeded oil production as part of its obligations to OPEC +, promises to compensate for the excess in the future.
“According to preliminary data, in April, Kazakhstan produced 7 million tons of oil and gas condensate. Daily oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 1.483 million barrels per day. Deviation from obligations will be compensated in the future, taking into account major overhaul on large projects in the summer,” said in the message of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of the republic announced that in April, obligations for Kazakhstan under OPEC + would amount to 1.457 million barrels per day, the excess was 1.8%.
