Gazprom does not comment on the specific deadlines for completing the laying and commissioning of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline; they are influenced by many factors, including the weather, said Elena Burmistrova, Deputy Chairman of the Board, General Director of Gazprom Export.
“The construction of Nord Stream 2 which was resumed in December last year, continues. We would prefer not to discuss the specific dates for the completion of its construction and commissioning, because they depend on a large number of factors, including weather conditions,” Burmistrova said at yesterday’s press conference.
Gazprom does not comment on the statements of its Ukrainian colleagues about the impact of Nord Stream 2 on transit through Ukraine, it is fulfilling the current contract, Burmistrova said.
