Oil company “LUKOIL” has appointed its representative in Turkmenistan
Stepan Gurzhiy, General Director of “LUKOIL” Uzbekistan Operating Company, has also been appointed representative of the President of “LUKOIL” in Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This is reported by the press service of the Russian company.
According to the information, the corresponding decision was made by the Management Board of PJSC “LUKOIL”.
“The functional duties of the representative of the President of PJSC “LUKOIL” involve improving the interaction of the “LUKOIL” Group organizations in these countries,” the media report says.
It should be noted that the oil company “LUKOIL” previously announced its intention to participate in the development of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani field “Dostluk” in the Caspian Sea. This agreement was reached in February 2021 during a meeting between the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the head of the company Vagit Alekperov.
