The share of gas in Gazprom Neft’s production in the coming years may reach 45%, said the head of the company Alexander Dyukov in the Siberian Oil magazine
“At the same time, we also understand our responsibility for additional reduction of emissions in the development of traditional businesses. Utilization of associated petroleum gas, further modernization of our oil refineries, implementation of a number of large-scale environmental initiatives and projects – this is the work that we have been and will continue to do,”added Dyukov.
He also recalled that the lack of global investment in hydrocarbon production could lead to a shortage and a sharp rise in energy prices. “Without investment in traditional resources, we run the risk of arriving at a situation of deficit and a sharp rise in energy prices,” said Dyukov.
