“During the specified period, Tengiz produced 20.2 million tons of oil. According to the plan for the reporting month it is 100.5%. In Kashagan, the volume of oil production reached 11.5 million tons, that is, the plan for January-September was fulfilled by 100%.
Indicators of Karachaganak are 9 million, which is 102.2% compared to the plan for 9 months,” the Minister of Energy said during a Government meeting.
He noted that 52.2 million tons of oil was exported in 9 months. The plan for the reporting period was 100% fulfilled. According to Nurlan Nogayev, 41.6 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas wasproduced during the reporting period, which is 99% according to the plan for January-September of this year.
“The volume of domestic consumption of natural gas reached 11.1 bcm, which is 100% according to the plan for 9 months. The volume of gas exports amounted to 10.3 bcm, which is 78.6% according to the plan of the reporting month.
The reason for the lag in the volume of gas exports compared to the same period last year is due to the fact that due to the coronavirus infection in the PRC, the volume of gas imports has decreased,”the head of the Ministry of Energy explained.
According to the results for January-September of this year, the volume of oil refining amounted to 11.5 million tons, which is 98.1% according to the plan.
