Azerbaijan in the first half of 2020 exported 5 million 959 thousand 479.7 tons of oil to Italy, which is 5.2% higher than the same period of 2019.
According to the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the cost of oil supplied to Italy amounted to $ 2,440,415.56 thousand (a decline of 11.3%).
In general, Italy accounted for 38.8% of Azerbaijan’s oil exports in January-June 2020.
The number of large buyers of Azerbaijani oil in the reporting period also included: China – 1 million 392 thousand 236.2 tons (for $ 217 million 978.26 thousand), Croatia – 852 thousand 657.86 tons (for $ 242 million 930.99 thousand), Israel – 809 thousand 101.69 tons (for $ 324 million 744.05 thousand), India – 773 thousand 700.11 tons (for $ 282 million 904.89 thousand), Ukraine – 764 thousand 528 , 86 tons (for $ 202 million 127.48 thousand), Greece – 609 thousand 361.33 tons (for $ 233 million 215.97 thousand), Vietnam – 518 thousand 793 tons (for $ 132 million 705.95 thousand. ).
Note that in January-June 2020, the declared oil export from Azerbaijan amounted to 15.343 thousand 452.5 tons for $ 5 billion 339 million 488.25 thousand.
