PJSC Gazprom opened a representative office in Azerbaijan.
“The representative office of PJSC Gazprom in Baku was registered by the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan on December 12, 2018,” a departmental newspaper reported to the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan.
The official representative of the company is a Russian citizen Maksut Anderzhanov.
As previously reported, the Board of Directors of Gazprom in October 2017 approved the opening of a representative office in Azerbaijan.
By the end of 2018, Azerbaijan imported almost 1 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia. However, this year Azerbaijan no longer plans to import Russian gas, since the country’s gas production will continue to grow.
