The head of the 9th refinery of South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC) announced that the facility processed over 23 billion cubic meters of natural gas over the course of the previous Iranian calendar year which ended on March 20.
According to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), the refinery injected 23.7 bcm of gas to the national gas distribution network during the previous calendar year.
Seyyed Mohammad Mehdi Hashemi, the director of the plant, said that 19.3 billion cubic meters of gas was recovered from the platforms of the 9th refinery and more than 5.5 billion cubic meters were taken from the fifth national trunkline during the year.
He further said that the refinery processed over 13 bcm of gas in the second half of the previous calendar year, up by 21% from the first half.
