Gazprom increased its export of gas to Non-CIS countries in February 2018 by 6.8% compared to the same period last year – to a record 17.4 bcm, the gas holding said.
In particular, exports to Germany in February 2018 grew by 8.5% compared to February 2017, to Austria – by 115.8%, and to the Netherlands – by 146.8%. In total, since the beginning of 2018, 34.7 bcm of gas has been supplied to the Non-CIS states – by 2.1% or 0.7 bcm less than in the same period in 2017.
In addition, for eight consecutive days Gazprom set new historical maximums for daily gas supplies and on February 28 reached an absolute record level of 699.3 mcm. In February, the volume of gas sales of the company in the domestic market of Russia also increased: it exceeded 30.5 bcm.
It should be noted that in 2017, Gazprom increased the export of gas to the Non-CIS by 8.1% compared to the previous year’s figure – up to 193.9 bcm.
