Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said yesterday that the policy of US President Donald Trump led to the disruption of a number of oil and gas contracts involving Iran.

“Trump is trying to destabilize the market for those who want to work with Iran,” the Minister said at a news conference.

He specified that some countries “at the international and regional levels” are also putting pressure on the companies of Europe and Asia, so that they do not conclude contracts with Iran.

At the same time, Zanganeh noted that more than 20 foreign firms are negotiating with Iran on issues of work on the Iranian oil and gas fields.
