Representation of Saudi Arabia’s state oil company Saudi Aramco will be opened in Baku in the near future, the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry reports.
This was said by the Minister of Energy, Industry and Natural Resources of Saudi Arabia Khalid Abdulaziz al-Fatih at a meeting with Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov visiting Saudi Arabia.
Minister Shahbazov also met with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud during his visit. The meeting highly appreciated the level of relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia. The parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation in all areas, including in the energy sector.
The Minister also met with the CEO of Saudi Aramco, Amin al-Nasser. The meeting participants discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects in third countries between SOCAR and Saudi Aramco.
