Export of Azerbaijani gas within Phase-1 of the Shah Deniz field development in 2017 amounted to 7,314.2 mcm, which is 2.4% higher than in 2016.
“The share of gas exports from the Shah Deniz field accounted for 33.1% of all gas transported by trunk gas pipelines in 2017,” the State Statistics Committee said in a report.
According to statistics, as a whole, Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines transported 22,126.2 mcm last year, which is 3.6% higher than in 2016.
In 2016, gas exports from Shah Deniz-1 amounted to 7,145.1 mcm.
