The Council of the European Investment Bank (EIB) on December 12 at its meeting considered the issue of a loan for the construction project of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).
However, the vote on this issue was postponed again. Now EIB will have to consider this issue in the first quarter of next year.
Turan notes that EIB established in 1958 by the European Union plans to provide € 1bn of a loan to CJSC South-Gas Corridor, which has 20% in the TAP project.
