Gazprom from January 1 to October 15 increased gas production by 18.4% compared to the same period last year – up to 361.1 billion cubic meters, the company said.
“From January 1 to October 15, 2017, Gazprom Group produced 361.1 billion cubic meters of gas – up 56.1 billion cubic meters (18.4%) more than the same period last year,” the report said.
In early October, a member of Gazprom’s board, Vsevolod Cherepanov, reported that Gazprom expects gas production to grow in 2017 to 470 billion cubic meters. In 2016, Gazprom increased its gas production by 0.14% to 419.07 billion cubic meters.
The company from January 1 to October 15, 2017 increased the export of gas to the far abroad compared with the same period last year by 10.3% – to 148.6 billion cubic meters.
In particular, exports to Germany increased by 9.7%, to Austria – by 48.3%, to the Czech Republic – by 27.5%, to Slovakia – by 31.4%.
In 2016, Gazprom increased gas supplies to non-CIS countries by 12.5% to more than 179.3 billion cubic meters, which was a historic high.
