The revenues of SOCAR Trading SA (the “daughter” of SOCAR) in 2016 amounted to $ 25.9 billion, which is 14.1% higher than in 2015, the company said in its report for 2016.
“In 2016, the company’s revenues amounted to $ 25.9 billion. In the reporting year, SOCAR Trading SA sold 50 million tons of products in world markets (an increase of 6.4% compared to 2015), of which 29 million tons accounted for oil and oil products of third parties, and 21 million tons – for Azerbaijani oil,” the document says.
According to the company, in 2016 SOCAR Trading sold more than 10 million tons of oil products on world markets, 59% of which was for light oil products, 5% for medium distillates and 36% for heavy distillates.
