Turkey to receive 6% discount for Russian gas, says Russian President

Turkey will receive 6% discount for Russian natural gas, which will be delivered since January 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the press conference after the meeting with Turkish President Rajip Tayyip Erdogan on December 1, 2014.

            “I and Erdogan have agreed that at the request of Turkish partners and considering expansion of cooperation in the oil and gas industry, we will reduce prices for gas for the Turkish consumers by 6%,” Putin said.
