The amount of gas condensate exported from Iran’s South Pars gas field reached 9.7 million tons in the first seven months of the current fiscal year (March 20-Oct. 21, 2016).
The figure indicates a rise by 65 percent as compared to the same period of the preceding year, Mehr news agency reported Nov. 17.
Iran exported some $4 billion worth of condensates from Iran’s South Pars gas field in the 7-month period, 41 percent more year-on-year.
Iran’s non-oil exports (including gas condensates) increased by 4.34 percent to $24.657 billion during the first seven months of the current Iranian fiscal year.
Condensate export shared 16.43 percent of Iran’s total non-oil exports in terms of value in the period.
