Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak announced a new forecast of oil production in 2017.
According to him, oil production will amount to 548 million tons against 544 million tons. The agency expects that, following the results of 2016. These data are incorporated in the new forecast of socio-economic development. Earlier it was planned that oil production next year will be comparable to the 2016 year.
This year due to commissioning of new fields and the maintenance of production in the old ones oil output will be higher than that predicted earlier.
