In the coming 10 years Iran will buy natural gas to the amount of about $30 billion from Turkmenistan and in exchange it will provide engineering services and goods to the same amount, reads information on the Turkmenistan web site Gundogar quoting Iranian Oil Minister Mohammad Taki Amanpoor.
In March 2015 the sides signed 17 cooperation agreements and there are also agreements to expand the mutual beneficial cooperation up to $60 billion. 150 Iranian companies have been operating in Turkmenistan.
Valiollakh Afkhami Rad, Director of the Iranian Organization for Trade Promotion, said by March 2017 the countries will implement engineering and technical projects to the amount of $5 billion.
