During 6 months, 2016 oil and gas condensate production in Kazakhstan reduced by 3.4% to almost 38.79 million tons, according to the Kazakhstan Statistical Committee.
32.97 million tons of oil and 5.82 million tons of gas condensate have been extracted, down 2.4% and 9.9% against the same period in 2015.
During 6 months, 2016 gas extraction dropped by 1.2% to 22.87 bcm. Associated gas production totaled 12.66 bcm, up 3.5% against 6 months, 2015.
The biggest oil fields of Kazakhstan are Tengiz, Karachaganak and Kashagan.
