Iran’s oil output surpasses 3.8 million barrels per day
Iran’s crude oil production surpassed 3.8 million barrels per day (mb/d) in the current month (started May 21), the country’s Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said June 14.
He added that the country’s gas condensate production has reached 0.6 mb/d, Shana news agency reported.
He added that Iran’s crude oil and gas condensate output was 2.7 mb/d and 380,000 b/d respectively in the first half of 2013.
He also said that Iran’s crude oil export (excluding gas condensate) was 970,000 b/d in 1H 2013 and the figure has doubled now.
According to OPEC’s monthly report, published on June 13, Iran’s crude oil production increased by 90,000 b/d to 3.562 mb/d in May month-to-month.
