In quarter 1, 2016 oil production in Kazakhstan dropped against the same period in 2016, reads the OPEC’s oil market report released in May.
According to OPEC, in May 2016 oil production in Kazakhstan dropped on average to 1.34 million barrels a day against 1.61 million barrels a day in February and January.
From January to April 2016 Kazakhstan reduced oil and gas condensate production by 2.7% and extracted 26.2 million tons.
In 2015 oil and condensate production in Kazakhstan totaled 79.46 million tons, down 1.7% against 2014. In 2016 Kazakhstan plans to extract 74 million tons.
