Russia reduced price of natural gas exported to Armenia to $150 per 1000 cub.m.
RIA Novosti reported that head of the Armenian government Ovik Abraamian said yesterday after the talks with Russian Premier Dmitrii Medvedev in Yerevan.
“Before that gas price was $165, but now it was reduced to $150. The talks are going on. We have been discussing if this will affect the consumer,” Abramian said. Thus, price reduction constituted 9%.
Russian Premier added that implementation of the program to extend the term of operation of the Armenian nuclear power stations has started. Medvedev said this is a unique project, because usually such projects last long, but Russia and Armenia hope to implement it in five years.
