Iran has shipped over 7.1million barrels of oil within 48 hours from its oil terminals in the Persian Gulf, said Piruz Moosavi, General Director of the National Iranian Company of Oil Terminals, today.
He also added that 25-30% of increase in the Iranian oil export falls to the traditional importers in Asia and Far East. The remaining growth of export falls to the European buyers and new partners, reported IRNA agency.
“After upgrade of the terminals infrastructure the company is able to load nine oil tankers at a tim,” Moosavi added.
Iranian Senior Vice President Eskhak Jahangiti said earlier that since lifting of sanctions Iran’s oil export increased from 1 million barrels in January up to 1.3 million barrels now and “in March it will total 1.5 million”.
