Turkey has an alternative to Russian gas, said Turkish Premier Akhmat Davutoglu commenting on possible suspension of deliveries.
He said Turkey hopes that Russia is not going to take this step. Even if Moscow does that, Turkey has an alternative to Russian gas, first of all gas from Azerbaijan and Iran, Davutoglu added.
Turkish Premier has also recommended Russia to be more logical, because Turkey is not the reason of the crisis.
On Tuesday Turkish Vice Preier Mehmt Shimshek said if Russia stops natural gas export to Turkey, then Turkey will increase gas purchases from Azerbaijan and Iran.
55% of gas imported by Turkey falls to Russia.
