From June 1, 2015 oil export duty in Russia could go up by $27.9 up to $144.4 per 1 ton, as it follows from the average price monitoring. In May 2015 oil export duty is $116.5 per 1 ton.
From April 15 till May 14, 2015 average monitoring price was $62,591 per barrel or $456.9 per 1 tons, Alexander Sakovich, expert of the Russian Finance Ministry, told RIA Novosti.
The privileged rate of duty of oil from the Eastern Siberia, Caspian Sea fields and Prirazlomny field has been annulled from February 1, 2015, because of change of calculation of duty rate. The rate of liquefied carbureted hydrogen gas has been also annulled. According to the new formula, the rates will remain at a zero level, if the average oil price will be below $65.00.
From June 1, 2015 export duty of super viscous oil will go up to $18.5 per 1 ton.
The duty of virgin petrol will go up to $112.7 per 1 ton, automobile petrol – up to $112.6 per 1 ton, other light oil products and lubricating oils – up to $69.3 per 1 ton, dark oil products without oils and coke – up to $109.7 and coke – up to $9.30.
The amendments concerning taxation in the oil industry came into effect in Russia from January 1, 2015. During three years customs duties of oil will be reduced by 1.7 times, oil products – by 1.7-5 times and gas condensate – by 6.5 times on a stage-by-stage basis.
