In quarter 1, 2015 SOCAR’s drilling companies reduced the volume of drilling by 38.6% against the same period last year to 20,075 meters, reported SOCAR press office.
The share of the exploration drilling totaled 987 meters (growth by 1.6 times), while operation drilling – 19,763 meters (decline by 40.5%).
In March 2015 SOCAR drilled 6.695 meters, of which 6,208 meters fell to the operation drilling and 387 meters to the exploration drilling.
Since early year SOCAR’s drilling companies put into operation 16 new wells.
In 2014 the volume of SOCAR’s drilling totaled 127,346 meters, of which 2,628 meters were exploration drilling and 124,718 meters – operation drilling.
