The Clearing House has revealed serious violations during the audit of Azerigas, a gas distribution company of SOCAR.
The portal www. haqqin.az reported that Azerigas did not prepare the project estimate documents and created possibility for embezzlement of a big amount of budget funds allocated for gasification of residential buildings in 2012-2013.
The project estimate documents of 790 objects have not passed through the state examination. The audit has also revealed the company’s big amount of accounts receivables.
According to Turan’s calculations, during 2014 natural gas consumption at the local market of Azerbaijan totaled 10,163,000,000 cub.m. Of this volume Azerigas delivered 5,671,000,000 cub.m. to Azerenerji. According to the official information of SOCAR, last year Azerigas delivered to the population 2,474,000,000 cub.m. of gas and 2,018,000,000 cub.m. to the “other” category of consumers.
