Rosneft President Igor Sechin said during his working meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that “in 2015 it is planned to prepare for drilling on the shelf in 2016, including preparation of the logistic bases in Sakhalin, Murmansk district and Magadan as well as the engineering-geological survey on the Magadan sections.
In 2016 it is planned to drill 2 prospecting wells jointly with Statoil and drill two wells on the Black Sea,” reads the company’s web site.
