In 2014 trade between Kazakhstan Republic and countries of the Customs Union totaled $19,665,200, down 20.1% against 2013, including export worth $5,207,300 (decreased by 12.2%) and import worth $14,457,900 (decreased by 22.6%), reported the Kazakhstan Statistical Agency.
“The structure of export of the Kazakhstan Republic includes mainly mineral products (47.3% of total volume of export to the Customs Union member-states), metals and metal products (23.4%), products of chemical industry (12.9%), vegetable and meats as well as food stuff (5.4%).
Machines and equipment are mainly delivered from Russia and Belarus (32.1% of total volume of import from the Customs Union member-states), mineral products (15%), products of chemical industry (13.3%), metals and metal products (13%), vegetables and meats as well as food stuff (12.1%).
