The US has eased the ban on export of oil extracted on the US territory, RIA Novosti quoted the Bureau of Industry and Security on Tuesday.
The regulator reported that it has issued some companies the license for export of condensate, a form of ultra light crude oil, extraction of which has significantly increased in the US in the past years. The companies have not been named.
The US administration has also clarified several technical issues, including types of oil allowed for export. In general ban on hydrocarbons export introduced about 40 years ago in response to the Arabic oil embargo and price growth still remains.
